What Is Creapure®?

Creapure is the brand name for creatine monohydrate produced by Alzchem Trostberg GmbH in Trostberg, Germany. It is manufactured in a dedicated, purpose-built facility using a patented synthesis process starting from sarcosinate and cyanamide — considered the safest method for creatine production.

What makes Creapure different from generic creatine isn’t the molecule itself — creatine monohydrate is creatine monohydrate. The difference is what isn’t in it. The manufacturing process eliminates two undesirable byproducts found in cheaper creatine: dicyandiamide (DCD) and dihydrotriazine (DHT). DHT-related compounds are suspected carcinogens. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has recommended strict limits on both. Creapure consistently tests below detectable levels for DHT and well under limits for DCD.

Every batch is tested for purity before leaving the facility, and Creapure is listed on the Cologne List® — regularly tested by the Olympiastützpunkt Rheinland laboratory in Germany to verify the absence of steroids, stimulants, or banned substances.

Why does creatine purity matter? A 2019 analysis by Alzchem tested creatine products from around the world. The average generic creatine product had significantly higher levels of DCD and DHT than Creapure. Some generic products contained creatinine levels above 1%, indicating degradation during manufacturing or storage. Creatinine provides no performance benefit — it’s waste product you’re paying for.

What 1,000+ Studies Show

Creatine monohydrate is the most researched performance supplement in history. The EU has specifically approved the health claim that a daily intake of 3g of creatine can increase physical performance during short-term, high-intensity exercise. HYBRYD provides the full 5g clinical dose — the amount used in the vast majority of research.

Strength & Power

Creatine increases phosphocreatine stores in muscle cells, enabling faster regeneration of ATP — the energy currency your muscles use during explosive movements. This translates to measurable improvements in strength output, sprint performance, and high-intensity work capacity across hundreds of studies.

Cognitive Function

Your brain consumes roughly 20% of your body’s energy. Creatine supplementation has been shown to improve cognitive performance, particularly under conditions of sleep deprivation, mental fatigue, and stress — exactly the conditions faced by professionals who train and work demanding schedules.

Recovery & Body Composition

Consistent creatine supplementation supports lean body mass gains, reduces exercise-induced muscle damage markers, and supports faster recovery between training sessions. It works through saturation, not timing — daily use at 5g builds and maintains optimal muscle stores.

Creatine works through saturation, not timing. Unlike caffeine, you don’t “feel” creatine immediately. It saturates your muscles over days of consistent use, maintaining a reservoir of phosphocreatine that your body draws from during high-intensity efforts. The timing of your daily dose doesn’t matter. Consistency does.

Why Creapure® Is in HYBRYD

If you’re only going to take one supplement, the evidence says it should be creatine. It’s the foundation of the HYBRYD formula — 5g of Creapure in every serving, every day. No loading phase needed. No cycling. Just consistent daily intake.

We chose Creapure specifically because we don’t cut corners on the ingredient that matters most. Generic creatine would save us money. But when you’re putting something in your body 365 days a year, purity isn’t optional. The difference between 99.9% pure creatine and a product with detectable levels of DHT compounds over a year of daily use.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Creapure and regular creatine?

Creapure is creatine monohydrate manufactured by Alzchem in Germany using a patented synthesis process that minimizes impurities like dicyandiamide and dihydrotriazine. It is the only creatine produced in the western hemisphere, tested on the Cologne List for banned substances, and consistently tests at 99.9%+ purity. Generic creatine, often produced in China, may contain higher levels of manufacturing byproducts.

How much Creapure is in HYBRYD?

5 grams per serving — the full clinical dose used in the majority of creatine research. This is not a proprietary blend with hidden amounts. You get the full 5g in every packet.

Do I need to load creatine?

No. A loading phase (20g/day for 5-7 days) can saturate muscles faster, but 5g daily reaches the same saturation point within 3-4 weeks. HYBRYD provides the daily maintenance dose. Just take it consistently.

Does creatine timing matter?

No. Creatine works through saturation, not acute dosing. Unlike caffeine, it doesn’t produce an immediate effect. Your muscles benefit from being saturated with phosphocreatine, and that happens through daily consistent intake regardless of when you take it.

Is creatine safe long-term?

Yes. Creatine monohydrate has been studied in over 1,000 clinical trials, making it the most researched sports supplement in history. Long-term studies show no adverse effects on kidney or liver function in healthy individuals. The International Society of Sports Nutrition has stated that creatine monohydrate is the most effective ergogenic nutritional supplement available to athletes.

Is Creapure vegan?

Yes. Creapure is produced exclusively by chemical synthesis. No raw materials or intermediates are derived from animal or herbal products. It is also Halal and Kosher certified.

Where can I buy Creapure creatine?

Creapure is used by many supplement brands as a raw ingredient. HYBRYD Daily Performance Fuel contains the full 5g clinical dose of Creapure alongside five other clinically dosed ingredients. You can try it through our 5-day trial for $15 with free shipping.
